Gli RSS sono sicuri?

Per noi 5% della popolazione Internet che usiamo gli RSS, sono uno strumento insostituibile.

Non ci sono però molti approfondimenti sugli eventuali rischi di sicurezza e vulnerabilità di questo tipo di documento, basato su XML.

Per farsi un'idea sul tema, consiglio quindi la lettura del post di Gianni Amato e l'approfondimento di Nicola D'Agostino.

FeedBurner, il Google degli RSS

Ancora Feedburner, ancora con un altro servizio destinato a "mietere vittime".

La tanto attesa mailing list da aggiungere al proprio blog (di precedenti novità avevamo segnalato solo Zookoda, oltre a FeedBlitz e allo storico Bloglet).

Già in precedenza avevo sottolineato come Feedburner stia agendo di fatto sorprendentemente indisturbato, in un settore così strategico come gli RSS/Blog/Distribuzione_dell'informazione

Non resta che testare il nuovo servizio e aspettare l'annuncio dell'acquisto di Feedburner da parte di uno dei colossi.

Pubblicare feed RSS da Messenger

Interessante applicazione per distribuire il proprio feed postando direttamente da Messenger (MSN).

Winer verso un nuovo aggregatore

Se Winer sta lavorando su un nuovo aggregatore, beh bisogna solo tenerlo d'occhio.
Sono davvero curioso di vedere che novità apporterà a questo settore.

FeedFlare > RSS sempre più ricchi

Feedburner ha introdotto Feed Flare che mi accingo decisamente a testare.

Mi stupisce il fatto che Feedburner agisca ad oggi ancora, di fatto, indisturbato in un settore così importante quale quello dei feed e loro gestione.

Il Guardian distribuisce il proprio aggregatore

Segnalo l'aggregatore brandato rilasciato dal Guardian.

Iniziativa decisamente innovativa (quanti media italiani hanno un proprio aggregatore?).

Avevo suggerito di farlo qualche mese fa a Beppe Grillo (ma vale come idea generale per raggiungere chi ancora non usa RSS).

Per usarlo bisogna registrarsi.

Il futuro dei media e gli RSS

Segnalo un ottimo post ricco di spunti sul futuro dei media in chiave rss.

In sintesi: semplificazione, liberalizzazione, distribuzione e monetizzazione dei contenuti.

NewsGator compra NetNewsWire

Altra acquisizione importante, questa volta nel settore degli RSS.

Newsgator in questo caso ha acquistato Netnewswire.
E' un'acquisizione importante in quanto parliamo di aggregatori di contenuti e quindi di sistemi di gestione dell'informazione, che sono destinati a crescere d'importanza.

Di questo passo NewsGator può diventare il leader di riferimento in questo settore. Prevedo un'acquisizione a breve proprio di Newsgator da parte di uno dei colossi del mercato.
